Laptops can be borrowed for up to 3 hours

Please plug the laptop in to recharge when you return it
Misuse / incorrect return of laptops can lead to
fines or the suspension of your library account
PCs and Laptops
Printing
& copying
Black and white / colour photocopying and print-
ing is available in the main LRC area.
You can send a document to the LRC printer from any college PC or laptop.
You can buy print credit from the LRC desk.
Username / Password
This is your log in for WKC devices & portals
Username = the number on your ID card
eg S0203456
Password = password1
(You can change this when you first log in)

Portals
Staff and students across the college share and organise information with three portals:

Moodle.

MyDay

College email
These are available online from anywhere with your log in
Moodle.
Moodle is a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that holds course materials such as:

handouts

class presentations

messages from tutors

MyDay.
MyDay lets you access:

- to prove you're a student

Learning Centre Staff are always happy to answer any questions about using the library. And we can help you with:

Learning Facilitators based at the LRC can also offer more in-depth help, supporting you to improve your study skills and computer skills.
