How many books can I borrow (take home)? 5 books at the same time
How long can I keep books? some for 3 weeks
and some for 1 week
(check the label inside)
How do I borrow a book?
Staff at the desk will check it out to you
Or you can use the self-checkout machine
Do I have to pay to borrow books?
No, it's free -
BUT if you bring a book back LATE
there's a charge -
10p for each book / each day
What if I want the book for extra time?
You can RENEW it
(make a later return date).

Can I borrow anything I see in the LRC?
No, we keep some books
(for example, dictionaries) here in the LRC so anyone can use them any time
Newspapers / magazines stay here too

The library catalogue is a list of all our books
and other resources
You can look for:
- the subject eg 'grammar'
- the name of the book eg 'English Grammar in use'
- the writer's name eg 'Raymond Murphy'
